Our Dr. Sole cork half sole and heel combination package is a full sole rebuild — not a simple half-sole swap. We completely remove your existing sole, install a brand new leather midsole, and then attach a genuine Dr. Sole #1091 cork-compound half sole and matching heel to the bottom. Because of the added thickness of this build, new welts are required — the original welt can't be reliably reused for this style of rebuild without difficulties maintaining the original welt stitching holes, so we have opted to focus to a factory like finish for this type of resole.

Choose Black or Brown to match your footwear. A single leather midsole is used for proper structure and support, and you'll choose a new split, flat, or storm welt to give the rebuild a strong, long-lasting stitch platform.

All work is performed by our experienced cobblers, in-store or through our nationwide mail-in repair service.

Our package includes:

- Removal of worn outsoles

- Installation of new welts (split, flat, or storm)

- Replacement of old midsoles and inner cork padding with a new leather midsole

- Installation of a genuine Dr. Sole #1091 cork half sole and matching heel

- Clean / Condition / Shine of leather uppers (as applicable)

What to do:

After purchasing your resole package please ship your shoes / boots to us.

How It works:

Once they have arrived, your cobbler will contact you letting you know that they have arrived safely. Then, we will proceed to cobble away and complete your order! If we foresee any issues related to your shoes / boots - we will give you options for repair. If you wish to have your shoes / boots returned before the work has been started we will issue a refund for your order after the return shipping costs.
