Fred's Shoe Repair was also recently mentioned in the Peoria Journal Star. The article, titled "Brighton Collectibles seeking used shoes to ship to Japan" discusses how donating lightly-used shoes can help support disaster relief for those in Japan. Although we are not collecting shoes for "Soles for Souls" we are still collecting shoes for local charities - so please stop by with your lightly-used shoes for donation.

With spring fast-approaching, it's time to get your winter footwear desalted, shined and waterproofed before putting them away. If left untreated, winter footwear can slowly degrade in storage from the salt collected during the winter season. Bring in your shoes to Fred's to make them look like new, and while Fred's is repairing your winter footwear feel free to also bring in your summer shoes to ready them for the warmer weather.

We have been serving customers in Peoria and Central Illinois for over 40 years.We have served customers in need of shoe repair or luggage repair from across Central Illinois (including East Peoria, Peoria Heights, Germantown Hills, Bartonville, Metamora, Pekin, Eureka, Chillicothe, Normal, Bloomington, and more!)
We have recently moved to our new location at 3033 N. University in our new and larger building so we can serve you better. In addition to easier access on a corner for our customers, we now offer more parking and a brand new "while you wait" area so you can wait comfortably while we services like shoe repair, luggage repair, or other soft goods repair. We are also an authorized dealer of many products, including brands like Spenco, Private Label Footwear, Samsonite, TravelPro, Atlantic, Vibram, Birkenstock, and many more.
